As someone who is occasionally asked to preach – whether it be at a revival, in a church, at a homeless shelter or prison – I am thankful for the reminder provided in this video to preach the word. I am also thankful for the churches who are obedient to God’s word – by preaching his word.

If we want revivals, we must revive our reverence for the Word of God. If we want conversions, we must put more of God’s Word into our sermons. It is God’s Word that saves souls not our comment upon it, however correct that comment may be.  Charles Spurgeon
